Parents and Carers Support Group

Our Support Group is for parents and carers of children who are care experienced or who have additional support needs. Everyone is welcome wherever you are at on your journey. It is a small and friendly group and conversation is very informal.

The group will be held in The Green Room (Kirknewton) at 7.30pm on the following dates: 24th April 

All are welcome no matter where you are at in your journey, from wondering about your child's quirkiness to having a diagnosis, from very small support needs at home or in school, to really complex needs. Come and enjoy a chat, a cup of tea, a biscuit and let's share our experiences. I thought this evening we might also share some of what we learnt at the session by Autistically Scott that was held just before the holidays - it would be great for those who weren't there to hear a bit about it and to remind ourselves of some of the helpful nuggets he shared.
